The origins of Terrazzo can be found in ancient Egypt, but were perfected by the Venetians in the 16th Century. A composite made from chunks of marble, quartz, glass and granite in a cement, it became trendy again in 1930’s American Art Deco buildings. Porcelain is a denser, less porous and harder option for flooring that offers greater stain and water resistance than ceramic tile. It is also the easiest to maintain with the myriad of possibility in aesthetic. Rectified edges reduce visible grout lines, contributing to a continuous stone floor feel. Available in multiple designs with multiple faces and in multiple colours, the Terrazzo Stone range provides alternatives, in this traditional classic. With a Matt finish and rectified edges for smaller grout lines, this tile is suitable for domestic and light commercial setting on walls or floor surfaces.
Our Terrazzo Stone showcases a range of true to life Terrazzo designs, in a variety of colours, to satisfy your need for this time-honoured look.
